Forville market and shopping
The oldest in Cannes, the Forville market, near the Suquet, is the local address for quality fresh products. Herbs of the garrigue, vegetables and fruits of the season, olives, typical condiments, fish of Mediterranean waters, sausages and canner specialties, here we are Locavore. Go through the shopping street Meynadier to arrive to this delicious daily show, dedicated to the flea market on Monday.
Two other markets are dedicated to Provençal products: the market of La Bocca, very diversified, and the market Gambetta, which animates the city center of Cannes every morning (except on Mondays).
Cannes is to the shopping what the steps are at the Palais des Festivals, inescapable! The main address of the Cannes shopping is the Croisette. With its palaces, the Boulevard is the signature of Cannes, it is also the address of the haute couture houses and boutiques of luxury ready-to-wear. Parallel to the Croisette, the rue d'Antibes is more diversified, from fashion boutiques to decorative shops to trendy tearooms. More friendly, the street Meynadier: this pedestrian street that extends the District of Suquet is the historical street of the Cannes trade.
